Sofi Gonzalez
Sofi Gonzalez is a Partner at Transcend working on a portfolio of school design projects focused on new methods, geographies, and innovative approaches to schooling.
Sofi realized her passion for education while working as an elementary school teacher’s assistant on learning interventions for students from English-as-a-second language households in North Carolina. She studied education and social policy with the goal of tackling outcomes for these students and families on a larger scale.
Prior to Transcend, Sofi was a cross-functional strategy consultant at Deloitte for federal, state, and local government and university projects. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Policy from Duke University.
Sofi is a proud New Orleanian and currently lives on the East Coast.
