Sofi Gonzalez
Sofi is a Partner working to capture and illustrate the impact Transcend’s work has on young people and their communities by building and implementing a robust strategy and data collection processes.
Sofi realized her passion for education while working as an elementary school teacher’s assistant on learning interventions for students from English-as-a-second language households in North Carolina. She studied education and social policy with the goal of tackling outcomes for these students and families on a larger scale.
Prior to Transcend, Sofi was a cross-functional strategy consultant for federal, state, and local government and university clients. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Policy from Duke University.
Sofi is a proud New Orleanian and currently lives on the East Coast.
