Saya joins Transcend as a Fellow on the Products & Capacity Building team. She creates and curates actionable insights, from research and practice, for Transcend, partners, and the field.
Saya began her career in education as a middle school math teacher in Los Angeles. She then served as a Teacher Leader and as Director of Strategic Initiatives before transitioning to work as an education consultant. Her work focused on strategic advising, project management, and execution support. Most recently, she supported national education non-profits responding to the COVID-19 pandemic with strategic planning and resource creation.
Saya holds a BS from the University of Southern California in Business Administration and an MA in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University. Originally from Los Angeles, Saya currently lives in Philadelphia.
