Sarah Field
Sarah joins Transcend as a Partner, Instructional Design for RevX, where she designs innovative project-based learning experiences that inspire children to become changemakers in their communities. Sarah is passionate about creating learning experiences that redistribute power, cultivate joy and connection, and nurture learners’ whole selves.
Sarah has over 20 years of experience designing curriculum and professional development for K-12 students and educators, including over a decade focused specifically on PBL. She has worked with organizations that include PBLWorks (Buck Institute for Education), New Tech Network, Envision Learning Partners, Scholastic, Kaplan, the Council for Aid to Education, Teachscape, and Edgenuity. Her love of crafting powerful, equity-driven learning experiences–and her belief in the importance of reimagining school with learners at the center–was sparked by her early experiences as an elementary dual language teacher in South Texas and New York City.
Sarah holds a Master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s degree from Smith College. She lives in Western Massachusetts with her family. Outside of work, she loves snacks, campfires, yoga, and getting lost in a good book.
