Melissa Ponce
Melissa Ponce is the Portfolio Director for the Texas Portfolio at Transcend, helping to build the internal systems and structures needed to operate at a high level all while maintaining a strong, positive team culture.
Before joining Transcend, Melissa served as a director on the networks team. In this capacity, she provided vital support to school and district leaders nationwide in their efforts to actualize 21st century, deeper learning for every student within their educational systems. With a strong aptitude for coalition-building, Melissa facilitated collaboration and established systems in service of accelerating innovation and advancing a shared vision for the future of education.
Melissa earned her BS in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and her master’s in Educational Psychology from the University of Arizona. Proudly rooted in El Paso, TX, she enjoys spending most of her time with friends and a big extended family.
