Estefany Lopez joins Transcend after being the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder and co-designer of Comp Sci High, a charter HS in the Bronx. Estefany was born in the Dominican Republic before migrating to the United States at the age of 6, where she lived in Massachusetts, Georgia and New York; all states that informed and shaped her educational experience and lens. She was salutatorian of her graduating HS class in NYC where she attended a failing district school before becoming the first person in her immediate family to go to and graduate from college (Fordham University).
A resident “people person”, Estefany comes with over 12 years of experience in the education space specifically as an operations, logistics, people and culture expert. Estefany is passionate about helping organizations close the achievement gap by ensuring they have the best systems, culture and talent possible.
