
Denise joins Transcend as a Partner on the School Design team. She has a decade of experience in school leadership, instructional coaching, and human centered design.
Prior to joining Transcend, Denise spent three years in Irving, Texas, on the opening team of a secondary school as a teacher, instructional coach, and then school director within the Uplift Education network. Denise then relocated to Denver, Colorado, where she served for 5 years as the Director of a bilingual middle school with a holistic child model called Compass Academy.
Denise earned a BA in Spanish and a BA in Ethnic Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She currently lives in Fort Worth with her husband and son, where most of her extra time is spent gardening, cycling, and spending time with her family and friends.
