Catherine joins Transcend after 5 years of marketing, development, and strategic planning experience for a nonprofit organization in Norfolk, VA.
After spending a summer as an Education Pioneers fellow and seeing the work that bold organizations are doing to transform the public school landscape, she was inspired to jump into work with Transcend and the incredible people that make up the Transcend team. As an Associate, Development & External Relations, Catherine is excited to use her experience in nonprofit development to build a network of champions for and supporters of Transcend’s mission.
Catherine holds a BA in Philosophy from the College of William & Mary and an MPA from UNC-Chapel Hill. She currently lives in Nashville, TN, and enjoys climbing, hiking, backpacking, and pretty much anything that gives her an excuse to go to the mountains.
