Caitlin Keryc
Caitlin joins Transcend as a Partner of Innovative Models. Caitlin has spent the past 15 years working as a secondary educator, instructional coach, and action researcher in urban public schools throughout Boston, New York City, and Newark. In these roles, she has been involved in the training and support of nearly 1,000 teachers and has, by extension, impacted the learning of tens of thousands of children. She has developed teachers for a number of schools as well as for organizations including The New Teacher Project (TNTP), Relay Graduate School of Education, and Blue Engine.
In addition to training and developing educators, Caitlin most recently served as the Director of Learning & Design for Blue Engine, a small non-profit focused on team teaching and serving all learners. She was instrumental in helping the organization pivot from facilitating an AmeriCorps program to scaling and strengthening their current team-teaching support model.
Caitlin is a proud alumna of Columbia University (BA) and UMASS Boston (MA) and considers herself a life-long learner. In her free time, she has supported the Gender Equity Project out of Hunter College and has volunteered in a Psychology and Social Intervention lab at NYU studying racial socialization.
