Alisha is a Partner on the School Design Services team. Prior to joining the Transcend team, Alisha worked for over a decade in public and charter schools.
Alisha began her career as a DC Teaching Fellow at JO Wilson Elementary School. She then returned home to join Success Academy Charter Schools. In her tenure at Success, Alisha taught and led at four different campuses. She ended her time at Success as the proud principal of Success Academy Bed Stuy 2.
Alisha earned a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and a master’s degree from Columbia University. In her free time, Alisha enjoys listening to books on Audible, attending kickboxing classes, taking care of her plants, spending time with friends, and traveling. She currently lives in her hometown, Brooklyn, New York.
