Tyler Thornton
Tyler joins Transcend as a Partner focused on the organization’s partnerships and business development strategy. She brings almost 20 years of experience working in education at the intersection of strategy and operations, including roles with the Bridgespan Group, Education for Change, Rocketship Education, and the KIPP Foundation. Most recently, she served as the Chief Operating Officer for Breakthrough Public Schools in Cleveland, OH.
Tyler received her BA from Amherst College and MBA from Northwestern University. She is a proud native of Northeast Ohio and currently lives in Shaker Heights with her daughter. You can often find her gardening, reading a novel, planning her next trip, or rooting for Cleveland sports teams.
