Kaytlin Ernske joins Transcend as a research associate. She previously worked as a Qualitative Research Manager at New York University Wagner for a mixed-methods evaluation of a guaranteed income pilot project in Los Angeles. As a qualitative researcher, she has experience working on studies related to innovation within poverty reduction policy and program evaluation. After conducting many interviews discussing participant’s education pathways, experiences, and opportunities, she is thrilled to pivot towards innovation within school design.
Kaytlin is passionate about listening to the voices of people from marginalized communities to answer questions about how to improve the systems and institutions we engage with regularly. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and International Studies with a concentration in human rights from Trinity College, and is working towards a Master’s in International Development from American University’s School of International Service. In her free time she enjoys listening to podcasts, exploring different cities, and trying new cuisines.
