Rock by Rock: Fostering Deeper Learning Through Projects

Rock by Rock makes it easy for any educator, school, or district to implement project-based learning that builds ELA, STEM and SEL skills. We lead with motivation as the key to driving student growth and provide an online library of on demand projects for grades K-5 that can support self-direction, small group, and whole group learning with both novice and veteran teachers. 

During this 60 minute workshop, educational leaders will:

• Analyze a sample project-based learning experience to determine how it combines motivation and academics to accelerate three of Transcend’s Leaps for Equitable, 21st-Century Learning: the needs of the whole child, drive self-direction and promoting social consciousness. 
• Engage in small group breakouts to identify strengths and areas of growth in their own practice and identify best-practices they can apply in their setting.
