Whole Child Institute

​The Whole Child Institute is a three-day conference designed to deepen participants’ understanding of what it means to support the whole child through the specific strategies of the Whole Child Model. 

• ​Day 1 will introduce educators to the foundations of brain development, the science of learning, and trauma-informed practices, as well as grounding in the essential practice of adult well-being.
• ​Day 2 will build educators’ understanding of universal supports for all students, called CARE practices in the Whole Child Model. 
• ​Day 3 will develop participants’ understanding of Tier 2 and 3 strategies, called Boost, for children who need extra support. 

​Across all three days, participants will engage in interactive sessions, explore evidence-based strategies for creating belonging-centered environments, see the model in action, and network with other educators committed to supporting the whole child. Attendees will learn concrete strategies to implement in their schools and classrooms, and receive practical resources to support them in doing so.
