Agency
A summary of research on agency—or the ability to set goals, plan how to achieve them, and use resources along the way.
Critical Consciousness
A summary of research on critical consciousness, or the ability to recognize and analyze systems of oppression and take action against them.
Empathy
A summary of research on empathy—or the ability to understand others’ feelings and perspectives—including what it entails and how it develops.
Self-Awareness
A summary of research on self-awareness, or an understanding of one’s emotions, strengths, weaknesses, skills, passions, abilities, and more.
Self-Regulation
A summary of research on self-regulation, or the ability to manage one’s emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in order to make productive choices.
