Sarah joins Transcend as an Operations Manager working on the Rural Portfolio. She has 10 years of project management and operations experience in a variety of sectors including tech, architecture and education. 

Prior to joining Transcend, Sarah managed the operations and logistics for mental health workshops, social-emotional learning resources and professional learning at the New York City Department of Education Pre-K Division as part of the Thrive NYC initiative. During her tenure at the DOE, Sarah supported the training of over 5,000 teachers in social-emotional best practices and sent out over 40,000 social emotional toys to 3 and 4 year old students all across the city. 

In her free time, Sarah enjoys being outside (especially in water), playing water polo, reading, and generally being art-y.
