Sarah has been redesigning education since she created her own interdisciplinary major as an undergraduate at Amherst College, and has continued to reexamine what teaching and learning look like in school settings ever since.

Sarah taught in public and private schools across the country for over 10 years. Being a part of the founding team of an award-winning EL Education school in Springfield, MA was a pivotal experience for her. From there, she went on to open 5 other schools and transformed practices in over 50 others in a variety of different roles: as a Chief Academic and Professional Learning Officer of a charter network, as a school designer for EL Education, in ed tech increasing LMS adoption, as a curriculum writer.

When not working, you can find Sarah eating delicious asian food in Seattle, WA, at one of the city’s many parks, or trying to pickle a new vegetable.
